On the 4th of February, with the swift stroke of a pen, my life was irrevokably changed, our lives were forever changed. I would find out later that my husband had met with a lawyer, a friend of his sister on Saturday, January 30th. The following Thursday, he signed the petition for divorce. On Friday, he cowardly stated," a lady is gonna be calling you to set up an appointment." What exactly does that mean? If only I had known what that meant. What kind of a person does that?
